Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) has acquired Napier Turbochargers Ltd., a UK-based provider of turbochargers and related parts for the worldwide power generation and marine markets. Napier has annual sales of about $55 million.
The shipbuilding, marine and marine technology trade fair (SMM) is the number one event in the maritime calendar. Napier had a significant presence at the 4 day trade fair where we showcased our range of innovative turbocharger products.
The Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine technology (SMM) International Trade Fair will take place on the 4th-7th September in Hamburg. Napier announced a number of major successes at the SMM 2010 exhibition and we are pleased to confirm that we will be attending the 2012 event.
